Forget everything you thought you knew about vegetarian burgers. Get ready to experience the ultimate vegetarian protein burger, bursting with flavor and texture Ingredients for the vegetarian protein burger: 1 can of chickpeas 500 g mushrooms ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional) ¼ teaspoon onion powder 2 tablespoons cake flour (or flour of choice) ½ cup panko breadcrumbs 1 egg Instructions Drain, rinse and mash the chickpeas either by hand or in a food processor, depending on the desired burger texture.
